CNC technology began to develop in the 40s and 50s of the last century. The numerical control technology of that time was based on the existing tools and machines that were used in the processing of materials. Today's production of metal parts without the use of CNC technology is unthinkable. The advantages of using CNC machines are numerous. Some of them are reflected in the flexibility in the machining process (especially with CNC milling machines and drills), precision and speed of machining. However, one of the most important and biggest advantages of using CNC machines in metalworking is that CNC can easily perform several operations in one cycle."
